About Glaser Musicworks
Glaser Musicworks was established to record and promote quality Jewish music that inspires as it entertains. To date the over twenty releases featured in the catalog are among the bestselling and most enduring albums in the Jewish world. Composer, performer and educator Sam Glaser founded the company in 1991 and has since become one of the most sought after producers in Jewish music. He also utilizes his state-of-the-art recording studio to score for film and television with credits on the WB, Fox, PBS and ESPN networks.
Sam Glaser's own acclaimed Jewish CDs have earned him a devoted following of fans of all ages for his distinctive blend of pop, jazz and rock coupled with Jewish concepts. He concertizes and leads Shabbaton experiences in over fifty cities each year. As one of the leaders of the Los Angeles music scene he has served as Executive Director of the Jewish Music Commission and has produced five of the annual American Jewish Song Festivals. Additionally, he has acted as Music Coordinator for the Department of Continuing Education at the University of Judaism, Musical Director for the Yad b'Yad Youth Theater Troupe and Music Director of the Brandeis Collegiate Institute in Simi Valley, CA.
